Hawaii

Ok, I think I actually figured out some Hawaii stuff and will include some pictures. It was so much fun to be there alone. Bill and I stayed at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore. The North Shore was definitely my favorite part of the island. It is more of what I expected Hawaii to be like. We walked on the beach every morning and loved the view from our room.

Some exciting things we did included cliff jumping, lots of snorkeling, Bill boogie boarded, I was not so hot at it, we tried surfing (I don't recommend it), hiking, and lots of laying on the beach.

Here are some highlites:

I'll try to add more later, but I did want to add some.

Indianapolis Zoo

They boys and I go to the Zoo usually at least once a week. They love the animals so much. Their biggest thrill was getting to pet an elephantthe other day. They have also gotten very excited about finding Dory and Nemo now too since discovering Finding Nemo. They ask at least once a day to watch the clown fish. They also love the sharks and dophins. The only down side is when it is really busy. Some times I feel like we are part of the show. We'll walk when I am in a good mood and we are staying in a smaller area. Other times we ride in our Choo Choo wagon. That's when we really get a lot of looks and comments. We have even taken other little kids for rides they love it so much. Hey, at least we are having a good time.

Hiking on Labor Day

For Labor Day we went to Turkey Run State Park. It is awsome. There aren't too many places that make us feel like we are back west but this place really does. It has these giant canverns and cliffs with a 'stream' that goes through the middle. The boys loved it. They tried to bring home every stick and rock they could find. They splashed and tried to catch little fish. Every once in a while one would fall into the water full on, which was freezing, but it was pretty laid back. We feel pretty confidant there isn't too much we can't do with triplets. Here are some action shots of us.

2 Year NICU Reunion

We went to the Clarian North Hospital NICU Renion last weekend and had so much fun. They had a safari theme and had games for the kids to play and they could win prizes. They each got a pair of animal print sunglasses that they love. They also took family pictures of each family. As you can tell, there is no way to actually get 3 kids to look good in a photo. :) We also got to meet Tony the tiger which the kids really enjoyed. The funny thing is they didn't want to pose for pictures, they just wanted to stare at the tiger and give him high fives. All in all is was great. We loved seeing some of our favorite nurses who helped give me healthy boys. You can tell how much everyone that has been there loves this staff. The hospital has only been open for less than 3 years and there were over 500 families that came to the reunion.

New Big Boy Beds

So I still don't have Hawaii pictures yet but I wanted to still update everyone on our lives. I'll get Hawaii pictures up as soon as I can.

The boys all got new big boy beds. They love them. We had a "birthday party" for them the day we got them and had cupcakes. They felt so important getting their new beds. The transition has been flawless. They stay in their beds even for naps.
